Dry italian red. Medium to big body. Rich almost apple-like forward notes with leather in the finish. Quite nice to drink and good with red meats and game.
100% Primitivo. meaty with a very nice start. a little earthy but not mineraly. This wine would be very good with a red gamey meat or a strong cheese like raclette.
Interesting Big White. A musky mouth feel with a certain buttery richness. Hints of pear on the tounge. The wine is not super dry but the interesting nature of the wine compensates.
Sicilian red. A blend of Mero d'avola, merlot and syrah. A drift towards the sweet and despite the blend, not really all that complicated. perhaps if it were a bit dryer and brighter it would stand out.
