Doura Tinto 2009
Dry in the portugese sense of dry. The claim is that these are light wines. Compared to a really rich zins, this is light but it is much fuller than expected.
Rich fruity notes. Raspberry and Cherry tastes. not a spicy wine.
This would be good with savory foods like a risotto or a paella. This would also be good with an aged cheese probably something like an aged gouda or cheddar or a parm. This probably would not mix well with a blue or a soft full cream brie like cheese.
